Underage Drinking Ticket Question?

Question by necifix: Underage drinking ticket question?
So,

I went to a party last night and had some vodka to loosen up a bit. After awhile, someone named Nick literally forced the bottle in my mouth when I wasn’t expecting it and I got pretty drunk. We left the party and on the way home I was puking a lot and my sober driver was going 6 MPH over the speed limit and got pulled over. They saw me back there, I blew a .107, I got a ticket. I ratted out the party because I was so out of it and a bunch of other people got tickets too. I have never committed a crime prior to this and don’t even drink very much. I got pretty unlucky. I don’t need a bunch of people commenting on my decision to drink and imposing their morality on me. I am very distraught over this, the ticket was $ 265.50. How serious does this look on your record and is there anything I can do about it to lessen the sentence? I am 18 years old and live in Wisconsin.
I did drink in the first place but I was seriously forced to drink a lot more than I wanted to. I don’t remember even ratting out my friends, but, I think mostly random people got the tickets and all my friends had left.

if its your first offence it will most likely be thrown out meaning nothing will happen just a warning from judge.
Worst case sunario is judge will want to make anexample of you because your 18 and give you probation and/or community service.
If you want it off your record you need to get a pardon and seeing how its your first offence shouldnt be hard.
If i was you i would be more worried about ratting out your friends that is worst then the ticket.
I personally dont beleave that someone forced a bottle of vodka down your throat your a typical teen drinking.
In the future i recommend you take your ticket like a man and dont rat out your friends as you are going to get the ticket anyways so why take your friends with you.

What do you think? Answer below!

    ” I blew a .107, I got a ticket.”

You shouldn’t have blown anything. You weren’t driving. You don’t have to incriminate yourself by taking a breathalyzer.

    Nobody gives a crap.

According to this from the Wisconsin DOT,

in addition to the fine, you will lose your driver’s license for up to three months.

I don’t know if you can lessen the sentence. You might be able to get into a diversion program; check with the court to see if they’re offered in your jurisdiction.
