Steve from Boston Shares his Story about Palm Partners Recovery Center. “My name’s Steve. I’m from Boston, Massachusetts. I grew up in a dysfunctional but loving home and I always had a lot of problems. I started using drugs at a very young age. I struggled with it for many years and I tried many different ways to improve my life. I tried all the drug replacement therapies. I went to a therapist to find out what was wrong with me. Through the years, I was able to accomplish certain things but I felt like I was never able to reach my potential. Towards the end of this last run leading up to Palm Partners, things got very bad. I ended up in jail and detoxes and overdosing on several occasions. My drug of choice is heroine but I’ve used any substance that I can to get out of myself and I guess what it’s like today, it’s completely transformed. I was blessed to have the opportunity to come here and I had no idea what I was in store for. I thought that I knew that I couldn’t go on the way I was but I had no idea what I was in store for. This place saved my life. On top of installing the importance of the 12 Step program to keep us sober, there are a bunch of other things you can learn here about just how to succeed in life.
