Open Question: Does Methadone block all other opiates?

I know that ex-heroin-addicts go to methadone clinics so that they don’t go into withdrawal and so that if they try and inject heroin they won’t feel the effects.
I am a Pain Management patient and have been for nearly 2 years now. I was on OxyContin then MS Contin and now just recently Methadone 5mg taken orally three times per day. I was wondering if taking my breakthrough pain medications (Diluadid 4-8mg and Oxycodone IR 15-30mg) would still work? 15mg of Methadone is a very small dose compared to those people of methadone maintaince so idk?
Perhaps I’m confusing Methadone with Suboxone?

I am seventeen weeks pregnant and I am addicted to hydrocodone. I am desperate for help. How or why I became addicted does not matter, but I have been taking them daily for over four years. Every hotline I have called told me to tell my OB-GYN, but she doesn’t seem like the type to understand and she’s only a nurse practitioner. The second choice was to tell my family doctor, but other people have told me that would only get me into trouble and he would not help me. If I go cold turkey while I’m pregnant it can cause miscarriage, premature birth and seizures. The best method of treatment for pregnant women is a methadone program but I have no idea how to get into one. Who do I tell? Where do I go that will accept Medicaid? I don’t have the money to pay for clinics or suboxone or anything. I have no idea where to start, but I need help, fast. Please, any answers would be appreciated. And also, please don’t judge me, I just want some help.
Also, I already have two precious children that I had before I was addicted. I am scared that my OB-GYN will call child services if I tell her that I am addicted and need help. Will she call them? I don’t need any extra stress. I love my children dearly including this unborn child, and that is why I am seeking help. For myself, but also for them. They are my world.

my boyfriends oldest sons mother is constantly causing alot of problems for me him when it comes to money and his son… for starters let me explain this woman shes 22 and shes a methadone addict she goes to a pain clinic every day of the week, she lives in a gov apt and she has no job tha gov also helps with her phone bill and light bill! she has two children one being my boyfriends son who is 6 the other being a 7 month old little girl… she is always complaining for us to give her money and threatens with child support when we always care for him as it is, she never sends him to school feeds him junk food her house is trashed and hazardous she has random men sleeping all over her house and her lights are always getting cut off… she only wants money to be able to by methadone rather then actually supporting her children… we have a clean and safe enviroment to live in and hes well takin care of not to mention his dad raised him bc she left after she had him and came back years later and she uses him to control my fiance! its an every other day thing and its becoming difficult to deal with but ive read up on sum things and it seems ga law disregards fathers rights and basically she has all tha say so… we dont have alot of money for a lawyer is there anything we can do about this im so stressed
in the state of georgia filling for child support and proving paternity still doesnt give the father any rights she can still decide to keep him from seeing his son…. and not filling or refusing paternity results the same outcome.. and ive looked into a lawyer i cant find any that will set up a payment plan and we cant pay a large lump sum at once! she doesnt just threaten to take out child support on a child we already take care of she also threatens with seeing him any time we wont give her money for her drug habit shes completely unfit as a mother but in the state of ga bc shes the mother she has all the rights since they were never married
