No Peter is right, well with me, since methadone my joints click on pop and
hurt. Was super healthy before no family history of joint or health
problems. Had blood work twice and came back normal. Methadone is fucking
damaging my bones. People are so ignorant. Am with you Pete. Hate methadone
with a passion. Also av put on 50lb of weight and have to keep catching my
breath. Before I could right up a steep long road to score with no
problems, now I am out of breath walking up a few steps. I have lots of
memory problems and am always in a dreamy state of mind. I hate methadone! ?

I pray for you pete; Ive only done heroin ONE time in my entire life. Ive
been on methadone for almost 2 years for chronic pain and it is great. Then
I got scared recently cause someone told me it rots your bones. I have
found that this is a MYTH; I think the person who told me this wasnt trying
to help me but was jealous that I can take opiates for pain and not feeding
any addiction. Methadone is INCREASING as an analgesic choice to treat pain.
The whole reason for me saying all this is I want people that are in need
of a withdrawal treatment to know that my bone mass has NOT decreased
compared to the first day I started taking methadone and now; dont be
scared but be informed. It could possibly be the withdrawal of the heroin
that causes your “bone loss”, if any. I have multiple Sclerosis and slipped
discs; if anyone was going to see and know the effects of bone loss, it
would be me if it was possible. I see different DR’s 2x a month.
This song is about my personal experience with methadone……Methadone
bones is not a literal statement,more,how my body felt,under it’s
influence,if methadone helps with your pain,and helps you live and normal
life……then that’s great…..This was just my experience…….

This is possible; it is also possible that chronic heroin use caused a
chemical reaction in people with the methadone to cause bone loss. There
are many factors; I have to take calcium and vitamin D for multiple
sclerosis, including testosterone injections. Im not saying in my previous
post that all people that take methadone to get off heroin are feeding
addition; the person i was referring to is a pill head.
