What is it called when Nurses/Doctors go to Drug/Alcohol Treatment? It has a name that you don’t associate with rehab… It is a cute little euphemism for “Rehab”.

Does anyone know what I’m talking about?
I found it! “Diversion Programs”.

I needed an euphemism for “Recovery” to put in the list of potential dietary requirements for a b-day party I’m planning.

“If anyone has any issues with the set, family-style menu, I was told they can request a plate off the regular menu and (as long as it isn’t lobster etc.) it will be covered by the $ 16.95 a head so vegetarians, theistic requirements, anyone on Diversion, Allergies, etc. etc. etc. can be accommodated without a meltdown.”

The fight against drug misuse whether it be on a general level or a private level does not have a quick fix resolution, there is no magic pill that can be taken to heal the troubles of drug dependence. There are, however, numerous things that can be done to speed up the progression and improve the odds of appreciably reducing the levels of relapse. One of the most significant of these is the use of a drug detox program. The gains can be huge and the conclusions can be lasting by using the services of one of these programs and it is with this in mind that I am writing this piece.

Question by : Why Would a Religious Organization, Professing Having the “Truth” also have, a “Drug Rehabilitation Center”?
This group has denied they have a “drug problem” within their “Organization” How did this happen with all the promises of happiness, and real LOVE?

They are not being persecuted for righteousness sake, so why are so many members seeking rehab for major drug abuse?
God said He would not allow His people to be tested “beyond what they could endure”…so why the heavy drug use?

Why did they hide this here when asked if their was a drug problem? They said we were lying about this…
They are addicted, yes many are, that is why this company is offering them assistance.

They will also need money to pay for this rehab…see;

Question by *Astrid*: Will I qualify for WI Assistance Programs if I am doing outpatient drug treatment?
I used to work as a fulltime graphic designer, my hours have been reduced to half of what they were. I was told I may qualify for the Wisconsin FoodShare program and energy/heat assistance.

I went online to their website and filled out a partial survey which according to my income and other factors, I did qualify for food and energy/heat assistance. When I went to fill out the actual application, one qustion asked on this app was, “Are you being treated in a drug program?”

I do go to a local hospital with a pain clinic dr. who also can prescribe patients with suboxone which is used to get people off of opiates. I’ve been on the Suboxone for about 2yrs to get off of painkillers.

Tramadol versus Methadone for Treatment of Opiate Withdrawal: A Double-Blind, Randomized, Clinical Trial.

The aim of this study was to compare the efficacy and safety of tramadol versus methadone for treatment of opiate withdrawal. Seventy patients randomly were assigned in two groups to receive either prescribed methadone (60 mg/day) or tramadol (600 mg/day). The withdrawal syndrome of patients was evaluated before and after rapid opiate detoxification using the Objective Opioid Withdrawal Scale (OOWS). No significant differences existed in overall OOWS scores between two groups (P = 0.11). Dropout rates were similar in both groups. Side effects in the tramadol group were as or less common than in the methadone group, with the exception of perspiration. Tramadol may be as effective as methadone in the control of withdrawal and could be considered as a potential substitute for methadone to manage opioids withdrawal.
