A lot of the symptoms going off of birth control are the same as going onto birth control (basically anything/everything you can/may experience while getting used to birth control can be experienced when going off of birth control. Sometimes these effects can last for months depending on how your body is able to “get back to normal” and how long you have been on the pill). Some of the more normal things you may experience would most likely include:
-nausea
-dizziness
-lightheadedness
-tiredness/fatigue
-sore breasts
-acne
-bloating
-odd spotting/random bleeding
-headaches
-cramping
-loss/gain of appetite
Add: you might end up with feeling the “withdrawal” effects for a couple of months. It may/may not really screw up your periods also (however, you may also end up with very regular periods – it really is a toss-up as to what your body will do. For instance, when I came off of Yasmin, my periods were exactly the same day each month, however when I came off of Ortho TriCyclen Lo, my periods have pretty well immediately gone back to the irregular way they were before taking the pill.)
