I am currently at level 1 on the MMT program and it took me three months to get here!!
There are numerous questions i have and i will start with the most important first.
HOW LONG UN TILL I AM COMPLETE THIS STUPID PROGRAM SO I AM NOT RELYING ON ANYTHING.
the doc says about a year but it took me so long to got to level one, and have heard that there are more than five levels. how many are there?
The reason i want off of it is because i sometimes miss my dose due to work and the result is disgusting with drawls.
please help me out, when i went on the program i was not informed properly and need some tips on how to advance so i can go down in dose. then eventually off of it.

I know (and thoroughly despise) a woman who is a heroin addict and got pregnant. She was on methadone treatment before she got pregnant but before and throughout the pregnancy she abused her treatment, as well as pain killers. I’m worried because she mostly bought more methadone treatment from dealers and took way more than she was prescribed to get high. She just had her baby, and I’m not sure how it is doing (probably not well considering the drug use, smoking a pack a day, constantly drinking red bull, and bleaching her hair). Because she is prescribed methadone treatment, I’m afraid the doctors will think the methadone in the baby’s system is fine, and that she’ll actually be able to keep the baby. I’m hoping they will see it has an elevated level of the drug its system and take it away from her, but I was wondering if anyone might know what will happen. I know this sounds harsh, but she has already subjected this baby to so much abuse, I don’t want it to have to endure anymore. I understand that addiction is a disease, and I would pity this girl if she didn’t insist on harming an innocent child for her own selfishness.
