What Are Detox Kits for That Isn’t Drug Related?

Question by erik mangum: What are detox kits for that isn’t drug related?
Basically I just wanna know what detox kits are for other than cleaning your system out of drugs.

Best answer:

Answer by Treevee
Any detox program is supposed to be designed to bring a person back in balance – whether it be to cleanse from drugs, alcohol, or any toxins that throw the body, mind, emotions, and spirit out of kilter. There are many detox “kits” that are formulated with undesirable ingredients that may worsen the effects, so it’s best to find one that truly does help and not hinder.

No. Alcohol is a drug, it is just more acceptable to use than crack or heroine. Caffeine is a drug too.

Marijuana:Overrated or Addicting?

Question by Yes No: Marijuana:Overrated or addicting?
I guess the way I see it is people describe being high on weed as the most amazing mind blowing awe inspiring feeling ever (but then again I’m in high school).I’ll regret not trying it sooner,be thankful I tried it,and not want to stop. But then they say it’s not addictive.

If it’s that great then why isn’t it addicting mentally? You’d think something that “awesome” would be.
If it’s not addicting then why do people seem to obsess over this stuff and describe it in that way.

I’ve come to the conclusion it’s either it’s overrated or it’s more addicting than I thought.

I’ve only run into a few people who say it’s really nice, but not that nice. They say it’s just a moderate thing to do at parties or after a long week.Fun,but no more so then masturbating.

One MONSTER good book that came out years ago was “Shogun” – you get to learn about Japanese history. And it’s by a big shot author, so this is real literature – and a great story.

In this an English sailor is washed up on the beach in Medieval Japan – and he becomes entangled in the local situation. So you get to learn it all through his eyes.

Who Says Money and Fame Won’t Get You What You Want?

Question by Littlemswright: Who says money and fame won’t get you what you want?
LOS ANGELES – Music legend Phil Spector has been assigned to a “sensitive needs facility” in California’s largest state prison to serve his sentence for murdering an actress.

Spector was taken Monday to the California Substance Abuse Treatment Facility and State Prison at Corcoran, where 6,919 other inmates are housed, corrections spokeswoman Terry Thornton said.

She said Spector was assigned to the sensitive needs facility rather than general population. He doesn’t have a cellmate.

As a medium security inmate, Spector can make some requests for items he wants in his cell, and his wife acknowledges her husband is already creating a list.

“He wants a TV and an iPod or something like that for listening to music,” Rachelle Spector said Tuesday. “And he would like to be able to receive e-mail.”
