Open Question: Need to get into detox/rehab.. Will they accept me, again?

I am a heroin addict. Have been for 3 years now. My addiction has caused me to be diagnosed with hep C, you would think that alone would stop me.. I am only 23yrs old. Most nights I fall asleep hoping & praying that I just wont wake up so I can spare my family the heartache. I could go on and on and on, on why my life is a misery, etc, but I wont. Im not looking for pity.. I just want to stop this. I need to get back into detox / rehab, but the problem is, I was just at a detox at the end of august – beginning of sept. Will I get denied from detox because my most recent stay was only 7 – 8 weeks ago? When I had checked into the detox, they had asked me if I had any recent detox’s prior to going there and I had told them that I was at a rehab in august of 2011 and they said that was fine, but that they dont take people that are in & out of detox’s. This was at a hospital though, not a rehab. I need to do something, and I dont want to go the methadone / suboxone route but I feel like that may be my only option. If anyone is expierenced with this, can you please share your thoughts? Thank you..

I’ve been on Suboxone for six years and I’ve always relapsed back onto H or pills.Because the withdrawals are so long and really no better then kicking methadone. In fact I got back on brown to kick that instead of subs. I want to go back to Detox but I have several things including people I have to take care of. So i’m getting back on Subs because my brown habit is getting so expensive. But I want to feel better about it when I do decide to quit. Maybe I will stay on it forever??I kinda don’t like that thought….

Open Question: can i send my boyfriend medicine that is a narcotic to england and how do i send it without getting me or him?

my boyfriend is a heroin addict and has waited for 3 months to go into rehab and detox and hes struggling badly, hes a great guy and works and pays his bills, and yet he is suffering and i want to send him methadone how can i send him medicine without getting in trouble, can i send it in my legal bottle and say im sending it ahead of time cuz im moving there? i know this sounds rediculous and illegal but its out of love and concern and its not like hes not trying, hes a father and a son and hes suffering, hes asked everyone for help but unlike the united states, there isnt much help there in bristol england please help me with information, im sure its been done before, shud i send it by regular post so it doesnt go thru customs or shud i send it over night door to door? oh god please help us. thanks mad man, i know its illegal and to addrees trishs answer, no there isnt that much help in bristol, and NO hes notlying to me, ive been there with him ayou have to sign up and go to many appointments to eventually get into a detox, he waited 6 months last time to get help! so dont tell me what he can and cant do, do judge or ever call someone a liar unless you know who and wut your talking about, im asking this out of concern and love for him, he has applied to go back on their methadone program in which he gets a script from the doctor and then doses thru the chemist there in bristol every day but thats not for another week, so dont tell me what he can and what he cant do, im scared hes gona get ick andethind and it will kill him and yes unfortunetly it is his fault for relapsing but it is what it is and everyone deserves another chance, it took me 16 years to get it right and until i live there all year round alls i can do is worry and or help! and no! of course i dont want to attention, u moron! im from the united states, im from new york, and your a complete lunatic! you need to be shot in the face and id love to get ahold of your ass! come to new york bitch and ill show you what lifes all about. you too have no clue what your talking about, and until you understand what addiction is about shut your frigin mouth, what a jerk you are, only an addict will understand my desperation of asking a question like this, and so go answer the other questions that dont take any intelligence to answer, your an asshole! everyone deserves a chance and i caan bet you have an addict or an alcoholic in your perfect family and just dont know it. hah! so go bother someone else you jerk! if u have another comment and want to say something to me send me an email at [email protected] you asshole!
