Open Question: Florida Bar Examiners?
I will be taking the Bar exam in July and I am a bit concern about the Character & Fitness portion. I don’t think I will pass. I am currently on Methadone and I occasionally take Xanax if I need to for anxiety. My ex-wife said I should tell them everything but I want to skate around it if I could. A dr at my Methadone clinic said she can talk to her husband who is a lawyer and he can help me with it because he knows people. Would that be a conflict of interest because she’s my methadone dr? Do they check medical records for history of drug abuse or mental illness? I have ADD also. I’m worried I won’t pass the background check. Will they do a background check on my wife also? She is a good person and she has never done anything illegal or drugs in her life. Will they question her or ask about our married background? My mental illness and my depression broke up my marriage but I won’t be treated. She said I show signs of bipolar disorder like my dad and my sister but I refuse treatment because the Bar Examiners may check. If asked, I’m afraid she will tell the truth about me and ruin my chances. Couldn’t they see her as bitter or scorned ex? Serious answers please thanks.

i’m cleaning up after a year long pill habit. i have no insurance. yesterday i think i took 9 all together. i had 11 pills left this morning. i’ve been taking two every 4-6 hours today. trying not to exceed 8. so far i’ve only taken 4. my habit has been pretty extreme. 10-20 a day until yesterday. what should i expect tomorrow? i should have 3-4 left and if i stretch those out, 1 every 4-6 hours, what should i expect the day after tomorrow?
