Qing Dynasty (1644-1912)

In the 1950s, historians such as John Fairbank and Joseph Needham popularized the idea that after Zheng He’s voyages during the Ming Dynasty, China turned away from the seas due to the Hai jin edict and was isolated from European technological advancements. Modern historians point out that Chinese maritime commerce did not totally stop after Zheng He, that Chinese ships continued to dominate Southeast Asian commerce until the 19th century and that active Chinese trading with India and East Africa continued long after the time of Zheng.

Bullying is the act of intentionally causing harm to others, through verbal harassment, physical assault, or other more subtle methods of coercion such as manipulation. Bullying can be defined in many different ways. Although the UK currently has no legal definition of bullying.
Bullying is an act of repeated aggressive behavior in order to intentionally hurt another person, physically or mentally. Bullying is characterized by an individual behaving in a certain way to gain power over another person (Besag, 1989). Behaviors may include name calling, verbal or written abuse, exclusion from activities, exclusion from social situations, physical abuse, or coercion (Carey, 2003; Whitted & Dupper, 2005). Bullies may behave this way to be perceived as popular or tough or to get attention. They may bully out of jealousy or be acting out because they themselves are bullied (Crothers & Levinson, 2004).

hi,
so i read the book a million little pieces by james frey and i need to make a CD based on the book.
So here is basically what happens in the story.
james is a serious drug addict.
he wants to kill himself.
he gets sent by his parents to rehab
there he meets Lilly
they fall in love (even though guys and girls cant talk to each other), she is in my opinion a big part of the reason why he became sober.
he fights the system at first and doesn’t want to do anything
but by the end of the book he leaves sober and happy

so i am looking for songs about recovery, drug addiction, falling in forbidden love, completing something and feeling good about your new life.
No rap songs please
soft pop rock alternative something like that.
