AP Parents, When Did You Transition Co-Sleeping Babies to Their Cribs?

Question by Mitch & Katie’s Mama: AP parents, when did you transition co-sleeping babies to their cribs?
I’m just wondering what the norm is for making them sleep in their own beds. I have my daughter on a day bed next to our bed so she starts of in that but always ends up between us and she’s 10 months old. She wakes up 2 or 3 times a night so it is impossible to have her in her own room just yet.

Should Singers Be Concerned About the Message of Their Songs?

Question by schenzy: Should singers be concerned about the message of their songs?
Two examples spring to mind….

1: Avril Levigne’s “Girlfriend” — the message seems to be… It’s a good thing to physically, verbally and psychologically abuse nerds… go out there a kick a nerd’s a*s and steal her boyfriend. It’s fun. (Teenage girls by the millions LOVE this song)

2: Amy Winehouse: “Rehab”… This song seems to say “Hey alcoholics and drug addicts, stay in denial that you are in control. Keep drinking and taking drugs. Don’t try to get help. ”
I’m sure so many people who desperately need help for their addiction problems might see this video and be empowered NOT to get help for their problem.

So the question remains… is it just the song or is it also the song and the message an artist must consider?

Can Anyone With Medical Experience Help?

Question by Requiem: Can anyone with medical experience help?
My friend (16 year old female) has a constant pain (5 days out of the week, roughly) in her thighs, hips, lower back. It’s been going on for quite a while and her doctors say nothing is wrong. I’m worried, and don’t like her discomfort, so… I’m asking you guys.

If she takes pain meds, they wear off within an hour, and the pain isn’t so serious she can’t move, it just stops her from doing anything more than walking, really. She says she feels like she’s her forty+ year old mother.
