Open Question: Quick Detox Centers in Spokane WA?
I know of Methadone and Sub clinics, but I need an opiate detox facility that does the 5 day or so quick detox. I do not need the program and as much of the social needs part of it, just looking for the quick in patient detox facilities. I’ve heard of them on the street, and am tired of this life. I can’t afford a lengthy stay like some of the 90 day programs, just looking for the DETOX part. thanks!

Open Question: I have vomiting + cold sweats, about 1 1/2 yr. details below.?
I’m 26, 5’7″, and 175 lbs. I’m a recovering addict. I’ve been on Methadone for over 2 yrs and have recently began my detox off methadone. I also take lamictal for depression and anxiety. I’ve been on this for less than 6 months. My “episodes” have been going on for over a year now. There was a constant pain in my stomach. I was only going to the bathroom once every two weeks. On top of that, every morning I would wake up sick… being to hot, then too cold. Then all of the sudden I would be sweating like crazy, my clothes would be drenched and then I would get cold and start shaking. In the beginning this was always before and during the vomiting. Afterward I needed to change into dry clothes, but it was almost painful when the cold air hit my wet skin. As time went on the vomiting came less and less, but the sweating, the cold shakes, they still come out of nowhere. Sometimes I go a week with no symptoms, but I haven’t been able to go an entire month without an “episode”. I have gone to many specialist… a gastrologist, a gastroenterologist, a urologist, and a hepatologist. They ran test after test, until the only remaining tests were an endoscopy, a colonoscopy or a biopsy. I scheduled the colonoscopy, but as the date got closer I started to freak out. After reading about what I had to due and talking with others who have gone through it at an early age, I decided to cancel. My anxiety was so bad, they would of had to put me under. The pain of “cleansing your bowels” along with vomiting, really scared me. I had enough of that when they diagnosed me with IBS (irritable bowel syndrome). Even with simple laxatives I was throwing up and as for the other end… lets just say it was very painful. Now it seems my IBS is under control and not the cause of these other symptoms. I also have acid reflux. I need to be careful about what I eat, but I hate cooking. This might be agravating my stomach. If you have quick, easy, and tasty meals that aren’t to hard to cook, share them with me! If anyone has had similar experiences/symptoms or has any good advice on what my next step should be, please respond to my question. Remember I am financially unstable, with bills from every doctor and hospital I’ve been to in the last year and a half. I have maxed out two credit cards and can only work when I feel well. I need a job I can do from home, hell from my bed! I do have a business of making and selling jewelry, but I can’t seem to get much sold online. If anyone has ideas in that area, I’d appreciate it.
