I took a 10 mg of methadone about 5 hours ago. I still feel it but it comes and goes. I’m just scared to sleep because I started reading about comas and what not! My pupils are pretty small and I’m really tired (it’s 1 in the morning) my heart is beating fast. I think I’m freaking myself out but do you think I can sleep? Or should I pull an all nighter to be safe? Or would I know if I was over dosing? Just please tell me.

Isn’t that just trading one addiction for another? I know someone very addiceted to pain pills (takes up to FIFTEEN oxies a day !) who says shes starting the Meathadone program to quit.

Resolved Question: How can i quit smoking heroine without going in to a rehab clinic?

I’m 22 years old living in Toronto, Ontario. I have been smoking heroine since may 26th. I remember stopping on the 8th of June then going back to it on the 17th. I stopped again June 29th and got back on it July 13th. The withdrawals are horrible but once i was over with that there was a lot of craving all of the sudden that got me going back to it. Today i found out my heroine is mixed with pcp. Before may i didn’t even smoke marijuana. I was prescribed Ativan last year for couple of months for anxiety but i stopped taking it. I didn’t want any drugs in my body. I changed dramatically ever since my mom died may 18th I’m not the same person. I wanna get off this crap permanently. I don’t have money anymore so i can’t afford a rehab clinic for detox. My question is what would happen to me if i was to go to the hospitals ER and tell them I’m addicted to heroin??? and what about going in to a random family doctor since i don’t have a regular? I’m also wondering if i can get the doctors to prescribe me the proper medication i need without letting them know I’m taking heroine? I’m just afraid to hurt my name and embarrass myself and i think they would treat me really bad knowing I’m a druggie. Hope to hear from someone. Thanks in Advance.
