Question by A Box of Signs: Which is the best anti-meth campaign?
1) Arizona’s “Don’t Even Start”? (O.K., I think I’ll just try it w/o starting then),
2) Montana’s “Not Even Once”? (A bit better, but further forbidding the fruit)
or
3) My idea: “SHOOT METH – We WANT you OUT of our GENE POOL!” They could even give it to people for free, on condition that ppl would stay until they overdosed. They could call places for that “Meth clinics” or something benign like that.
Seriously, who would bother doing meth then?
It never SOUNDS politically correct to be any kind of pro-death, but what about all the collateral damage that people who have nothing to do with meth suffer now under prohibition? With the SHOOT METH campaign, the only direct victims of the meth problem would be those who themselves did it. Sure they’d bereave loved ones — but so does any non-meth-user killed by e.g. a stray bullet over meth turf wars, and such one’s death is much more tragic.
There’d be a surge of OD’s for a few months followed by an eternity of a non-existent meth problem.

An addictive drug is one that causes uncontrollable and compulsive drug craving, seeking and the use of the drug, even if one is aware of negative effects and social implications. A person starts getting physically dependent on such drugs or alcohol, requiring it to pursue even day-to-day activities.

In absence of availability of the alcohol or drugs, a person feels lost and irritated. The lack starts affecting the normal behavior and such a person just cannot function till he/she is able to take a shot of that particular drug. A person might also turn to crime to lay hands on the banned substance. The figures revealed via extensive research on the cases brought to the various drug and alcohol rehabs or treatment centers give a clear indication how deep the abuse has seeped into society.

METHADONE CLINIC MADNESS PRE HOLIDAY – Wanted to title it Pre Holiday Methadone Clinic Blues, not enough soace. Just a review of my unbelieveabley miserable morning, that never seemed to end! All in all, that part turned out very positive on my part, and I made out alot. Started with a urine (1 of 90), then an unscheduled counselor meeting, a pill count (of my klonooins) and STILL 41 people ahead of me. THWN computer dies, no takehomes till its fixed, (i get 14 on this part. day) eventually it works, i go home 96 minutes after U=I arrived. GREAT SUCCES

Question by Jacques the Axe: Why do people hate homosexuals and insist of letting them go into “rehabs”?
Lets look at this.
“Clinics” have been coming all over America this is quite strange because no other place in the world has them.
And the fact that in some of the Arabic countries and number of lands in Africa there gay people are shot
I just don’t understand this as a Buddhist (former Christian)why do some people devote they’re lives of hating other people?
