All these areas attract a high number of daily visitors entering the area to obtain and use drugs, as well as drug paraphernalia. A considerable number also enter to access other services such as mental services, aboriginal services, methadone clinics, drug services etc. Do yourself a favour if considering moving into such housing, research if any such facilities are nearby. Such facilities also influence the movement of housing applicants and housing transferring tenants who often seek out homes with are close by, as the overwhelming majority access the services by foot or public transport.
