Open Question: Will Job Corp deny you if you’re on methadone ?

So my friend wants to join job corp. Unfortunately in the past he had some drug problems, but eventually he wanted to get clean and got set up on a methadone maintenance program. We’ve been trying to look up what Job corps. policy is on this type of thing, we know that there is a zero tolerance for illegal drug use and that won’t be a problem, but there isn’t any info on our main question. So to summarize :

My friend is on methadone and has been for over a year and has clean drug tests for every month since he started to show he’s been off of illicit drugs, he wants to join Job Corps and wants to know if you can while on methadone maintenance ?

P.S. Also, most patients have to go into their clinics (for the methadone) every day but thanks to his clean drug tests he only has to go once a week, so living on campus wouldn’t be a problem as long as he could get to his doctor once a week.

Open Question: What would give me energy after being off methadone(went to clinic for 10 years) and off of it on day 17?

I am a 29 year old female and went to the methadone clinic for almost 11 years. I decided after spending $ 60k on it throughout those years, it was time to get off of it. I went through hell with withdrawls for a week and after that, I just don’t have any energy and sweat. I have two kids and I had to get off it, not only for me, but them. I will never look back and go over there again. My habit started when I was 18 years old and my doctor prescribed me 120 pills a month after a bad car wreck, then I realized how much I liked them and did about 30 oxy’s 40’s a day, hydrocodone, and other pills. Well, after a year of being on them, I went to the methadone clinic, thinking it would help me get off pills and I could get off of it. Well, fast forward almost 11 years down the line and I was taking 105 milligrams everyday. I passed ALL of my drug screens(at least once or twice a month and they would call you in anytime to drug test you and check your take homes), and haven’t taken a pill for eleven years.

I am on day 17 from being off methadone. Here is my problem. I have NO energy whatsoever. Just picking up my two year old wears me out. I was just wondering.. Has anyone been through this and how long did it take you to get your energy back? If you haven’t, would you recommend something for me to take(OTC, of course?) Please don’t say energy drinks, because the thought makes me sick. I really need help here. I don’t know how much longer I can take this and I have done so good in the last ten years and would have done great if I could have just stayed on it, but life doesn’t work that way, especially when I was paying over $ 400 a month for it.
