Open Question: Does methadone cause anger issues?

My husband started taking methadone at an addict clinic (every morning) to help him stay off pain pills that he became addicted to because of back injuries. Since he started, his temper has become horrible! He says he can’t tell a difference but I can and believe it to be because of the methadone. There’s constant arguments over tiny things, irritability, and other problems. This is really affecting our marriage and becoming really stressful. Please please please HELP US. Thank you!
Also, he’s been taking methadone for 6 weeks and hasn’t started to quit or lower dosage so I don’t think it’s with-drawls just yet. I saw him go through with-drawls when he quit pain pills and this is really different. Thanks to all who have already gotten back to me! Ya’ll have no idea how much I appreciate it!

Caught my girl cheating may 17 2012 long story short she had her ex over & had intercourse for about 2-3 mins before I came home… We have since decided to work things out & she addmitted everything to me…long story short she was on a,methadone clinic 4 a few years & was detoxing & taking a bunch of kolona pins during all this she went to detox may 19th two days after she cheated & came home may 25 & we began having sex 2 or 3 times a day… She got her period a few days later & we took test that came up negative…but shes eating ten times the amount she usually eats she has morning sickness shes always horny & her boobs even.look bigger… Can.she possibly still b pregnant ?

My husband has been going to a methadone clinic for about 2 1/2 years due to a Pain Med addiction as a result of back surgery. I am putting him on my health insurance which covers methadone – but I am having trouble finding a doc to prescribe it-they all talk about suboxone. Plus I don’t think my husband wants to be tapered off as he has chronic pain – does anyone know if there is a doc that will prescribe continuous methadone prescriptions? if so, what type of doc is it?
