Methadone Clinics: Open Question: Can Someone Please Help Me Find a Suboxone Doctor?
Open Question: Can someone please help me find a suboxone doctor?
I have an addiction problem with heroin. I recently put myself in rehab to detox and attend an intensive outpatient program but I still struggle to stay clean. At this point I think that a medically assisted program may b my best bet. I do not want to do a methadone clinic because i see people that are on it and they look high or in their own world Plus it seems like an inconvience to have to go to the clinic everyday to get the dose. I think suboxone would be best for me. The problem is that I lost my job in September when I requested the time off to detox and I can’t find a suboxone doctor who takes insurance for the office visit and most are around $ 200 for the first visit. Does anyone out there know of any suboxone doctors in the Philadelphia area who take insurance for office visits or even bills for the visit and will work with a payment plan? Please help! I want to be clean. I want to be normal again.

Open Question: Springdale methadone clinic?
Resolved Question: i broke my back coming on 2 years ago this feb. I still struggle with pain meds.?
I broke my L2, it was a burst fracture about 2 years ago in a snowboarding accident. I had to wear a brace for about 2-3 months after having surgery. I have 2 rods and 5 screws now in my spine. I am able to walk and everything and have recovered pretty well. The pain in the beginning was un bearable. I used to have a high tolerance for pain, but after that accident, I have never said 10/10 on pain scale and that was an 11! The fentanyl in the ambulance and in ICU really helped me manage the pain for the time i was initially injured. I then was released from the hospital 6 days later, prescribed 10mg oxycodone. For about 6-7 months i took the oxycodone as needed for pain. I had to go to physical therapy and used the pain meds because it would hurt to work out my back. SO 2 years later, i’m still on and off with the pain meds. I’ve been prescribed methadone for pain and it helps because it lasts for so long. However, i’m not in as much pain anymore but i’m not sure if i need to get off the methadone. I’ve become physically dependent and mentally dependent on it and i’m not sure what to do now. Does anybody have any advice? This is a sticky situation and i never intended for it to go this way. As far as pain goes for now, I’m pretty much comfortable while on the methadone. However, when off of it, a fews days without it my back aches and hurts like all day long and all night. My muscles in my back are still very tender and when I push on them it feels somtimes tender and a little painful. anybody have any advice or answers to what i should do? i’m so confused and lost now.
