If William Henry Harrison Were President Today Could He Have Been Saved?

Question by smartypants22: If William Henry Harrison were president today could he have been saved?
I find it sad that he died because he gave a 2 hour inaugural speech in bad weather. I was wondering if this had happened today, would he been able to survive?

Actually, he didn’t become sick until weeks after his speech, so it had nothing to do with his death. And from what I can tell, yes, with modern medical attention he would almost certainly have survived. He basically had a cold exacerbated by stress, hell, he might have lived if he had just gotten a few days rest.
