I Took the Generic of Simply Sleep and Woke Up With Trouble Breathing a Few Nights Ago?
Question by Andrea: I took the generic of simply sleep and woke up with trouble breathing a few nights ago?
I take it very often, because I have trouble sleeping. Do you think the breathing trouble was due to the simply sleep or do you think it could have been something else? I’m scared to take more tonight.

Here are some so called “side effects” of the drug you are taking and if you will notice, “difficulty breathing” is one of them. It is an allergic reaction and you should take this seriously.
Severe allergic reactions (rash; hives; itching; difficulty breathing; tightness in the chest; swelling of the mouth, face, lips, or tongue); convulsions; decreased alertness; excitability; fast heartbeat; hallucinations; tightness or pounding in the chest; tremor; wheezing.
This is not a complete list of all side effects that may occur. If you have questions about side effects, contact your health care provider. Call your doctor for medical advice about side effects. You may report side effects to FDA at 1-800-FDA-1088. You may also report side effects at http://www.fda.gov/medwatch.
All drugs damage the body. Sleeping pills are designed to put your brain into chaos and that is how they work. You will NOT get good REM sleep when you take them. Yes, you sleep, but the quality of sleep is very poor.
If you are having trouble sleeping, it is being caused by something and instead of just treating symptoms like doctors do, you need to find the “root cause” of the problem and become healthy. Drugs give you “make believe health.”
I suggest you see a Certified Nutritional Therapist that can actually help you in regard to any nutritional deficiencies and can take a look at your existing foods you are eating to help you adjust your diet, etc. In order to get a good nights sleep, you should go to the following company and order a couple products: (800) 370 – 3447. These two products have NO drugs in them and are far better than any drug you can buy in health food stores or pharmacies because they are natural herbs. Tranquinol — take 2 of these 1 hr. before bedtime. This resets your circadian rhythm after taking them from 3 to 10 days. Melatonin — this is different than the “ash” form of melatonin you get in stores. This is from a once living source and really works with your body. As a woman, you should take 3 to 5 drops under the tongue just before bed and increase the dose to 10 drops. This form of melatonin does a lot more for you as a woman, than other forms. It not only helps you sleep, but it gets to areas in your body that help rid it of free radicals that age you. It is good to take this as an on-going thing. It is NOT habit forming like drugs and has NO side effects, but simply nourishes your body when you take it.
Make sure you have a room that is totally dark with NO light whatsoever in the room.
Good luck to you
