This is what you do, first you get some help go to some group things or whatever then after maybe a week you tell her that you have an addiction but your getting some help. She may or may not be mad it depends on what type if girl she is, most girls are just stupid and they think your strong because you got yourself help. But anyways just get some help first then tell her. Hope this helps :)

I KNOW what addiction is…I am a 25 yr. sober alcoholic. I KNOW you CAN overcome an addiction IF you honestly want to. I would tell your girlfriend what you do, AND that you need & want her help to OVERCOME your addiction. PLEASE PLEASE do something about it. Get yourself signed into a detox & get yourself clean. You CAN DO IT, IF I could get sober after drinking vodka for yrs. & yrs., hurting my 3 children, hurting others, breaking marriages, you too can overcome your addiction. It IS a disease & like any other disease, it CAN be treated. Tell her you badly need her help. Ask her to go to mtgs. for herself. I know there is Alanon as I also went there with an alcoholic ex husband. She could find out if there’s a special mtgs. strictly for drugs. AA saved my life, alanon saved my sanity. IF you tell her in a way of needing her help, she does love & care about you, she WILL do everything in her power to be of help to you. How I HOPE you WILL get yourself clean & sober as I have done. IF you want my email address, ask me, I’ll be glad to help you. Put “drugs” in the subject line, I’ll be so glad to do my part for you…ALL the very best to you, I mean it sincerely…:)

I would leave her and seek your own help and not drag her down the path you have chosen. because no matter which way you look at it, this is going to impact her physically, mentally and emotionally over your recovery, that is even if you do get clean, which chances are slim at best.

Heroin is a drug that cannot be stopped without professional rehab. If you want to stop you need to get help, and once you do that you should tell her so she knows you are serious about quitting. If you have no intention of giving it up expect her to have a major problem with it,
