Guyon’s Canal Syndrome Treatment Program
Guyon’s Canal Syndrome Treatment Program – The symptoms of Guyon’s Canal can be just as devastating as Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, but affect the ulnar nerve instead of the median nerve. Guyon’s Syndrome causes pain, numbness, paresthesia (pins and needles) and dysfunction of the ring and little finger due to impingement of the ulnar nerve as it passes through the Guyon’s Canal, located on the hypothenar side of the wrist junction. The symptoms resemble those of Cubital Tunnel Syndrome, as both disorders affect the ulnar verve which supply function to the ring and little finger. Cubital Tunnel Syndrome is impingement of the ulnar nerve at the elbow, while Guyon’s Syndrome is impingement of the ulnar nerve at the wrist junction. But with a few simple exercises and stretches, Guyon’s Syndrome can be eliminated, providing pain-free movement and function once again.
