You can not get any kind of federal student aid, (loans, grants, work study) if you were convicted of a drug charge while in college and receiving federal financial aid at the time. And even if you did, you could complete an “acceptable drug rehab program” to get your eligibility back.

    Not necessarily, They just look at your total income/how much money you have. Now the people who may look at records like that would be the university (Its a 5 percent chance). You you had any previous convictions or misdemeanors you have no problem of getting in to the university but if you get convicted of anything during receiving Financial aid, they will cut you off from Aid immediately.
