There is no such thing as a “cleanse” of any kind. There are no “toxins” in your body that are not either just passing through and will be eliminated by normal body processes or are so firmly embedded in your fat tissue that they likely will be there until you die. Any substance or program that purports to “detox” your body is spreading a fantasy based on someone’s imagination and not anything real.
Anything that claims to “detox” your body is full of crap. Ironically, they claim to do this magic by adding yet another chemical to the body. Neither the body nor any of these products has any way whatever of telling “toxic” chemicals from the ones that belong in your body all the time. The body treats them all exactly the same way, eliminating them as their concentration goes up. There is no repository of some strange “toxins” in the body that you can dump out. Anything that caused you to urinate or defecate any “toxins” would also cause you to eliminate vitamins, proteins, and all the other components of your body. The body already gets rid of things as they pass through and turn over in the daily cycle of intake and elimination. Yet the peddlers of these products continue to make money, having tapped a vein in the bottomless well of human gullibility.
Don’t fall prey to claims by movie stars, others not competent to make such claims, or late-night alcoholic doctors who lost their licenses but put their bottles down long enough to make a commercial for some snake-oil saleman who needs a “real” doctor, nor from the Dr, Oz’s of the world who abandon valid science and facts for money and fame.
The ONLY way to keep toxins out of your body (and there are really very few in very small amounts no matter what you read on the internet, which is proven to be 90% lies) is not to put them there in the first place.
