Opiate replacement therapy is bunk, methadone is heroin anyway. – Methadone is a synthetic heroin and used as a maintenance drug for heroin addicts in treatment. I’m here to tell you that does not work and never will but I …

@ Randall…. exactly what did I say that is ignorant? You obviously did
not either watch the video and just comment with a knee jerk attitude or
you watched the video but obviously did not hear what was said…. Now for
the stupid name callers and childish adults, one more time…. My point
is that one does not have to stay on methadone for more than a week to 10
days….after that it is all up to the user, if their plan is to quit their
next step has to be so e help in how to change their decision making
skills, but that is all up to them. One definitely needs a little help in
that regard unless you are like my brother who was able to quit drinking
and smoking by just doing it and reallizing he had to ” change his mind ”
in a way that makes decisions easier for him…..so, for 25 years he has
succeeded….where I have a lot of pain issues that require pain
medication…..period. if you dont like that answer then you are just a
    trouble maker and an asshole.?

  • honeymclean:

@Mike R – you’ve been on methadone for 3 years with no heroin ? Methadone
    IS heroin,stop kidding yourself.

  • Gerald Reynolds:

BTW, did you watch any of my videos on it or just see them there and decide
to question before you do watch?

  • Gerald Reynolds:

@smtlovesjaf This comment just proves you’re not “sober” rather your
addiction is being “maintained” unless you didn’t understand what
maintenance treatment meant. You obviously didn’t listen very closely your
attitude is that of a junkie calling me names and shit. You don’t even know
me while I’m trying to do a good thing and help those who do agree with me
and see what my argument is. You’re more angry at yourself for allowing the
establishment to put you in this predicament.

  • Gerald Reynolds:

    @abk4202020 I’m not a “bro” “niggah”, I’m a man with a great message. You
say it saved your life but fail to detail how this was done. My video is
all about saving your young ass stupid life and get off the methadone and
learn to live like a man without treatments…..fucking dumb ass kids….

  • Gerald Reynolds:

@kristalblair “Life experience” is exactly what I meant at the mention of
my age. You and I really do agree, I’ve always said that to get rid of the
addiction it is up to the one who is trying. It’s a simple matter of
learning different thinking skills and taking responsibility for one;s
actions. This is where methadone can be utilized as the substance to make
the detox experience painless and compassionate. After detox it is all on
    you..

  • Gerald Reynolds:

Depends on which program you’re talking about. If you are currently a
heroin addict, not a user for pain reasons or your addiction is caused by a
previous pain treatment. You have to be a little more specific but I can
give you a few pointers about it in video because my fingers are very sore.

  • Randall Pfleegor:

you sound truely ignorant. At least these young kids have a life now where
if they would have stayed on heroin they wouldn’t. They’d be dead. Just
because people abuse it doesn’t mean it doesn’t help the people who need
it. I have been a heroin addict for years and am hoping to start a
methadone treatment tomorrow. It gives me hope that I might actually have a
better future. You are so ignorant to blindly put down something that helps
so many people. You have no idea what your talking about.

  • mikeandcooper:

if i had money,id open up a methadone clinic here in canada. the ones here
arent funded by our govt. but the docs bill the govt for urine tests and
their services. its a money maker. you could be a multi millionaire within
a few years. its harm reduction. just call it something nice like that.
smart idea,if u have some money, invest in meth clinic, not the stock market.
smart idea, trust me. im looking for a partner

  • stop jihad:

I agree….I think they guy smokes too much weed and lacks testoserone!

  • Gerald Reynolds:

Please look for JstNEarthling on Facebook, they provide more taping time….

  • kiddOszwiFey:

Everybody has different experiences on methadone. Don’t talk shit about
something you can’t relate to. Methadone almost fucking killed me. If you
had a good experience on it, great for you.. but half of us were almost
killed by it. I was on 130mgs. By far the WORST withdraw I have gone
through out of everything I’ve been on. Don’t bash somebody that had
horrible experiences on it. Methadone.. TO ME.. was a constant near death
experience. He is right, it’s trading ONE FOR ANOTHER.

  • Gerald Reynolds:

@LeshaAnn I’m trying to help people who really want to stop being an
addict, whatever one wishes an addict is the reality is different. I know a
lot about opiate addiction and treatment or therapy…So, I’m using what I
know to put a message out,,…so whatever . CYa

  • Gerald Reynolds:

@SaraheffinQ Did you even watch and listen to the video and subsequent
videos on the same subject or are you just flapping your guns because of
the title…..? That is a rhetorical question BTW, as I already know the
answer…..you did not listen or you would have heard me explain that very
question, as to whether I “lived in addiction” or not…just watch and you
will hear me tell you I was a heroin addict for over 20 years….so…STFU

  • Chesterette:

Wow, isn’t it interesting to listen to the rationalizations people make
when they are feeling a little bit touchy or defensive about something?!
People have always tried to make themselves feel better by demeaning those
just one level below them, and you, sir, are no exception. It doesn’t
matter WHY you started taking methadone; once you’ve been on it for a
substantial amount of time, you need it. Simple. I take it as directed, for
addiction, and DO NOT chase any “high.” Over-generalize much?

  • anthony insidious:

Comprehensive evidence in support of the notion its their illegality and
NOT their inherent nature/effects lies in the fact over 93% those receiving
heroin maintenance abstain completely from crime;keep in mind these are the
most hopeless/hardened of addicts (ingrained in street life/crime for
decades) as these programs are small @ present in most countries. If
completely legal a pure gram would be $10 as opposed to over $2000.Doses
    would be measurable,purity known.

  • Gerald Reynolds:

@jaybone23 That is exactly what I’ve said. Methadone will work very well as
a method of easy withdrawal, after that it is one’s own responsibility to
make sure they get some kind of help in changing their decision making
    skills…..

  • Gerald Reynolds:

    @missylaxx What’s a vascular disease? a myocardial-infarction ? A herniated
    disc?

  • smtlovesjaf:

How do you feel about buprenorphine? How do you feel about endorphin
deficiency syndrome? That’s a very real condition plaguing addicts and non
addicts, peoples whos brain have been altered by drug use should not be
allowed to take a drug that helps them lead a normal life? So does that
mean your against diabetics taking insulin too?
