Question by curious: m357 Vicodin concerns?
I have stumbled upon some m357 vicodin.. I weigh 170lbs and do not use painkillers, this will be the fourth time over the course of many years.. how many can I take while remaining relatively safe but still feel the effect?

m357 is just used as a marker to identify what the drug is. So I was able to determine it is Vicodin (5/500), meaning it has 5 mg of hydrocodone, the opioid narcotic, and 500 mg of acetaminophen (Tylenol).
Do NOT take more than two at any time. The maximum dose of acetaminophen is 1,000 mg, going above that can cause problems. Since you have hardly used opioids at all you will very likely feel “the effect” from just one pill. If one pill is enough don’t take more, if you take more the chance of side effects occurring greatly increases.
I also recommend you do not use Vicodin or other prescription medications recreationally. Not only is it illegal but it can be detrimental to your health.
Although I do feel I should say that the other person is exaggerating about the addiction risk of a few Vicodin.

If your tolerance is low take two and see how it affects you, like some of the others have said there is lots of tylenol in 357s. Every person reacts differently to opiates, so make sure you know your limit. 357s are the weakest vicoden they make it probably will take more than 2 to get any euphoria or the desired effects you are looking for. Heres a little trick so you can ingest 20-30 milligrams without hurting your liver with acetemetafin. Put a small amount of luke warm water in a small glass, like two shot glasses worth. Then crush the pills into a fine powder, and stirr them in the water for 5 min or so. Opiates are water soliuable, where as tylenol is not. Once you have dissolved them in the water put the solution in the freezer for 20-30 min, you do not want it to freeze but you want it to be very cold right about to freeze. All this does is make the water thicker almost like syrup, and imposible for the tylenol to remain in stasis it all sinks to the bottom. Then take another glass and put a coffee filter on the top in a fashion so that you may filter the solution from the cold glass into the other. Use a rubber band to hold it on, and be sure to soak the coffee filter in water first so that the solution passes through the coffee filter and does not absorb into the filter. Carefully pour the solution through the filter into the second glass. Do not squeeze the filter to get more liquid out of it, pour just a little bit more water through it. It tastes really terrible so chase it with fruit juice. OPIATES EFFECT EVERYONE DIFFERENTLY USE EXTREME CAUTION. This process is know as a Cold Water Extraction or cwe, and it work with most blends of opiates and tylenol including percocets and even codeine pills.
If you were not prescribed this medication by a physician, I recommend you do not take it.
Firstly, it is a violation of several federal laws obtaining this medication (even if you ‘stumbled upon it’, which I highly doubt) to even have this medication without a prescription, even if you have it from a family member.
Secondly, Vicodin is not a medication that you can simply start and stop. As you start taking it, it will begin to take more pills to feel any effects as your body builds a tolerance for it. While doing that, you are taking more and more Acetaminophen which can destroy your liver. Hydrocodone withdrawal is not fun either, as it is an opiate, especially after having taken large doses. Street hydrocodone is commonly mixed with other recreational drugs that have contraindications or can intensify the effects, such as benzodiazapeine drugs.
You are setting yourself up for failure by taking prescription drugs illegally.
