Breastfeeding and Pregnant?

Question by Stephanie: Breastfeeding and Pregnant?
Are the hormones that cause baby acne the same ones you produce in early pregnancy? I have a 3 1/2 month old and she had baby acne around 2 weeks old. It cleared up and her face has been clear since then. Except for recently. She does breastfeed and I haven’t ate anything new. Her face is starting to break out again. There is a very good chance I could be pregnant. Could she be breaking out because of possible early pregnancy hormones?

I breastfed my first all the way through my second pregnancy and while I cannot remember exactly what it was, she did experience a similar “side effect” due to my hormones.
