Open Question: Oxymoraphone addiction,methadone clinic?
i have taken opana and oxymoraphone for years for pain now recreation when i can’t find it i get oxycodone or basically anything else i do not do street drugs .my question is in the morning i have an appointment at a methadone clinic and i don’t know what to say,i want to quit but i don’t have oxymoraphone in me latly i couldn’t.get any ,i could only get oxycodone .i don’t know what to tell the dr tomorrow how can i say I’m addictid to something that i havnt had i know i will be tested,and please if you don’t have anything helpfull to say …don’t reply

Open Question: Research Project On Heroin?
I am doing a mapping project on heroin usage in New York State, so basically I will be looking at different trends related to heroin. I am thinking about finding heroin usage by county for different time intervals and then finding other effects such as number of methadone clinics, number of heroin ODs, number of heroin arrests and crime rate in each county based on the usage amount. What other things can I bring into account when studying heroin? (I will eventually put these different values into arc map and create a visual map with different colors standing for different amounts by county)

Open Question: How do I talk to my friend?
I am getting married in a month and a half. I haven’t invited my friend. I’ve known her for 15yrs and lately I have been distancing myself from her. We met because she was dating a close relative of mine when I was a teenager (she is about 5yrs older). She’s married to a man that beats her and cheats on her, a few months ago his girlfriend went to their house and busted out the windows of his truck. He beats her in front of their 3 sons and brings the boys to spend the night at his gf’s house. I cant tell you how many times I have driven an hour to pick her up from where he left her and given her a place to stay only for her to go right back. Her husband told me that he wanted to sleep with me and I knew if I told her, he wouldn’t let her talk to me anymore. I avoided him for over 3yrs until I finally couldn’t hold it in any longer and told her. She’s been on methadone for 4 yrs now and she doesn’t have any plans to stop. She doesn’t work and her husband works odd jobs and won’t buy things for the children but he always has a new pair of Jordans and they always have ciggarettes regardless of whether or not the baby has diapers. A few months ago her husband got in a wreck and during that time she found a boyfriend that she told me she was sleeping with but then a few weeks later she said she never slept with him. Last time I talked to her she told me She had left her husband and she was so blessed because she was going to make it on her own. She started going to church and turns out is having the church members pay her rent, electric, water, giving her money for gas and paying for her to go to the methadone clinic. I told her last year when we first started planning the wedding and she waited until a few months ago to tell me she better be a bridesmaid. I know she cannot afford a dress or anything else. I’m not trying to bash her, I have made a lot of mistakes but, I decided a long time ago that I wanted better for myself. My fiance and I work hard for the things we have and she always makes it a point to tell me how lucky I am because she wishes she had what I have. I don’t want to hurt her feelings at all and I’ve tried talking to her about making better decisions but it doesn’t register. I don’t know what to do, she’s never done anything bad to me but I can’t handle the drama from her life. Any advice?
