Resolved Question: Why was my question removed?
This was my question, I have been off all opiates for 4 months, I took anything I could for about a year, the last two years I mostly took methadone. 30-60mg day I am now off all opiates, I did not go to a treatment program, I decided to do it on my own. For the most part I am doing ok at this point, I have been away from the area I live for about 2 months for some change, and don’t know people here. My question is, I have to go in to have two impacted wisdome teeth pulled. I talked with the surgeon about my past and told him not to give me any opiate pain reliever after. He said he would give me ibuprofen, but did say he would have to use fentinol during the surgery. The surgery doesn’t scare me, but him issuing the fentinol scares me to death. I guess I’m wondering if this will cause me to withdrawl again, or what it will do as far as me relapsing?? I still don’t know anyone here where I’m staying so no worried about going out to look for more, but what will it do to me as far as setting me back goes? Any info appreciated. Thanks
