I know this sounds crazy but i think my boyfriend is using pain killers…. about 2 months ago he got in an accident at work and lost part of his thumb… just the very tip. They put him on oxycodone. He has a history of abusing pain pills and he undergone a methadone treatment. At first he took a few as needed. Then he started taking more. As bad as is sounds i checked his bottle because of his history. Then he kept telling the doc he was hurting and needed something stronger. Which the doc said ok. Then i noticed he started sleeping slot more and always had little pupils. He does not eat as much and wants to lay around all day.this last time he went to the doc the doc gave him more even though we ha d went throug. his last script way to fast. He then started hiding his pills under the mattress and places like that. Somedays he would be very tired and nod off slot and i would say did u take it meds and he would say iv not took any all day and i can tell he had. For ex. The doc gave him a script of 45 pills for 10 mg oxy. 4 days later he only has 12 left but every day i ask he says he ha not taken any. He seems to be so good at lying and i love him so much. Iv tried to talk to him about it but he always says i have to trust him and he loves me. Why do i do to help him
