Open Question: Can I be fired for a failed drug test taken wile on a day off?

was sent, by my employer(Wal-Mart), to take a drug test 5 days after I reported an on the job injury. I was told that I had to have a drug test before seeing a doctor. The injury happened on Sunday and after being sent home, I requested to see a doctor on the fallowing Friday. I reported to work and was sent to take a drug test and to the ER for treatment. Monday, another twelve days after the drug test I was told by the tester that I was positive for Hydrocodone(which I have a prescription for) and positive for Methadone which I don’t have and did not take. I have not been fired yet, but knowing the 0 tolerance policy I expect a call any day now. I was told that I could request a retest at a cost to me of $ 150.00. I now am involved in a workman’s comp case and was working on a “lite duty” restricted work schedule of my normal weekend hours. Is there any thing that I can do to contest this if I am fired and how will this effect my workman’s comp case? I was aware that I would have a drug test four days before taking the test. I have no idea what this other drug is. Also, why would a sample taken on my day off and 5 days after the incident be valid?
