Thin Lizzy – Emerald (Live in Tokyo, 1983 – see description) – I posted this because a couple people asked me some questions about this particular show. I promised the gentleman I received this from that I would never post the whole show of this anywhere. It’s one of Lynott’s worst performances and it’s just sad to listen to Lynott, who while in Japan, was in the midst of heroin withdrawl. As a compromise, I’m going to post this one song. Trust me, there are moments even worse than this (both during songs and between songs), but I didn’t want to post them. This should give you an idea. This is merely for educational purposes. This is why you don’t do heavy drugs. Those drugs are bad enough, but once you’re hooked, you’re screwed. I don’t want to sound like a public service announcement, but they are bad. Enjoy the clip and keep it in context of the situation. I don’t want any newbs coming here and saying “WOW, THN LIZZI SUC THEY CANT PLAY LOL!!1!” . Anyone that says that gets an instant, permanent ban from my channel. This is the warning. Thanks.
