I have been taking Methadone for opiate addiction for 5 months, and my doctor has retired and sold his practice without referring me to a new doctor. Now I am having trouble finding a doctor who can help me. I need to take the methadone otherwise I am crazy and start wanting painkillers again. Does anyone know of a Dr. who can prescribe Methadone in Las Vegas?

Well, the laws state that doctors can only prescribe Methadone for addiction via a “Methadone Clinic” and all of those rules that apply. If your doctor was prescribing you methadone that you took to a pharmacy and had filled then he was breaking the law. They could do it that way once upon a time but not today.
