Are Global Warming Skeptics “Traitors”?
Question by Andy G: Are Global Warming skeptics “Traitors”?
According to Newsday.com, here’s what Robert F. “We each get one free murder” Kennedy Jr. had to say at the Live Earth concert – “Get rid of all these rotten politicians that we have in Washington, who are nothing more than corporate toadies. This is treason. And we need to start treating them as traitors.”
EXCUSE ME, but the “treatment” for traitors is execution. The standard of proof is quite high. The Constitution, in Article III, Section 3, Sentence 2 reads: “No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court.”
Can anyone name a single “corporate toady” who has been convicted in a court of law using this standard of proof?
Is anyone else amused at this wild-eyed hysteria coming from a person who’s family legacy consists primarily of alcoholism, adultery and giant political and personal scams, disasters and embarrasments? I think the gentleman from Boston is all wet, like his Uncle Teddy!
Yes, Steve, there are a few questions. Go back, read what I wrote and look for the QUESTION MARKS. Those will be the questions.
OK Chicken. He said it at the Global Warming festival, or whatever. I suppose it’s possible he’s just rambling off-topic like Kennedy’s tend to do. More likely he was saying it in the context of the accusation that corporations and the politicians that support them are responsible for GW. ..don’cha think?
