My parole officer does not want me in the clinic is I legal for her to make me detox
I am in a methadone clinic I was wondering if she can forced me to detox off of it. I heard different. If somebody knw please help me

My boyfriend of over a year has always had opiate issues, it has been a problem with me morally but never directly to our relationship. He used to do any pills he could get his hands on then he got on methadone because he couldn’t detox on his own. He recently went to rehab and it has changed him for the better but he says he has no emotional connections or feelings. I know how in love with me he was before so this really scares me. There’s not a lot to read about it so I guess i’m looking for personal experiences from people in my situation either addict or partner of one. I’m not sure if this is a temporary thing, permanent, etc. I’m okay with starting over from the ground up and growing his old emotions back into our relationship but when is he going to be able to feel things? I want advice, or people to talk to! I am open to anybody’s opinions or experiences
