My boyfriend is an opiate addict and he has finally decided to go on the methadone treatment.
I just want to know when is he ‘cured’? When will he no longer need the drink? I know once his body doesn’t need the heroin, hydro etc anymore, he will be addicted to methadone. How does one deal with that? How long does it take? When will he be free of all medications?

Long story short, hubby was caught having an internet affair in december been dealing with that plus working two jobs one starts at 100am until i go to the second one from 6am til 11am seven days a week , then i come home cook and clean take care of my mom who needs help then do everything else at home as well he sleeps like16 to 18 hours a day gets up long enough to get food to take back to bed with him and watches tv or gets online. He is disabled due to back problems and gets his 400.00 month check for that and will not lift a finger to help me im so lonely and tired of working all the time when i dont get anything from the money i make i shop at the goodwill if i can afford to after we pay for his methadone treatments which us 300.00 a month and his nasal spray addiction which costs about 30.00 a week. I feel like justgiving up why is my life so bad ahd he cheats on me to boot. Just venting and crying and feeling desperate todayl
