Voting Question: Can I get a restraining order for harrassment and no contact with me and my kids against my ex’s gf?

I want to file a no harrassment order from my ex and a no harrassment & no contact order for me and the kids from my ex’s gf.

All of these events have happened from March 2 2012 – present

First things first, my ex meet his current gf in detox for his second stay due to severe drug abuse and alcoholism. He is still on suboxone which is the presciption drug = to methadone. His gf is an alcoholic.

I am a FT working single Mom of 2 kids ages 4 & 2.

1. In the decree, the family car has been awared to me. I just paid the car off with Honda Financial (w no help from him as he decided to voluntarily quit his job so he wouldn’t have to pay CS) & my ex rec’d the title in error. He refuses to give up the title to me and is threatening to tow my car unless I register the car in my name, but I can’t do that without the title.

2. The gf (under my ex’s name) has sent several harrassing emails to my work. After each email, I blocked the email address and she/he would create another. This was very much an interuption to my day at work and made it extremely hard to focus. Finally, I had IT change my email address to something they couldn’t guess.

3. My ex/his gf have twice gone to my kids dr office and tried to report that I abuse my daughter and she has bruises on her legs. I would never/have never/will never hurt anyone let alone my children. When I went to the dr on Monday to take my daughter bc she had the croup, my pc dr mentioned that my ex was in on May 23rd to report bruises on my daughter. The dr reported that there was no case and no significant bruising just kid stuff. I texted my ex to ? why he would accuse me and he/gf said the dr filed a 51A report. I called the dr office hysterical only to find out there was NO report. The ex/gf were lying. The next day I received a call from my pc dr and said they are behind me 110% and that I am a nuturing, educated, wonderful Mom and they would never file an abuse report on me. They have also noted the file to check him out if he brings my kids.

4. On Saturday, the kids had their first unsupervised overnight at my ex’s house. When I went to pick them up, the gf was there. In front of my kids and her daughter, she called me a “white trash cow”, “fat bitch cow” etc. I asked her why as a mother of a daughter she would call me such names in front of her daughter and my kids and she said “the kids are used to it bc that’s how we talk about you at our house”.

I texted my ex bc I want to talk to him 1 on 1 and he refuses. When he came to pick up the kids today, he said what do you need to talk about, there are no problems. This is effecting my life. Every time I receive a text I am scared to read it bc what’s next?? They are keeping me & the kids from living our life. Why can’t he just be a parent and a Dad to the kids.

This has been an absolute nightmare.

Resolved Question: For a pain pill addiction is it better to go cold turkey, suboxone or detox a few days at a hospital?

So what is better to get back on your feet faster? Ive heard nightmares about methadone and im not real familiar with suboxone…also its expensive. Cold turkey but feels like crap afterwards???, as in depressed state and no motivation. As for a quit detox is that possible and would it be the same after effects as going cold turkey or is their meds to take to make a person feel better faster? What is the best way for a person to detox and not be a blob for weeks or months to come. This person REALLY want to quit but doesnt have the time to feel like s*** for an extended period of time.

Resolved Question: Help im on methadone and pregnant…what do i do and what’s going to happen?

Okay I’ve been on methadone for about two and a half Weeks now i just found out I’m pregnant and don’t know what to do. I was originally in the 21 day detox, started at 40 mg and am currently on 30. the thing is that my doc wants to up my dose back to 40 mg and put me on maintenance. Help I’m very scared! First of all i don’t want my baby to go through the awful withdrawals, and secondly i don’t want to be addicted to methadone either by the time my baby is born.(I’m in California btw) someone please help me any advice is welcome i just want to make the right choice for my baby…

Resolved Question: Hey guys, anyone know how to get off 62ml methadone and over 120ml valium and 300ml temazepam per day, quickly?

Prescribed methadone for over 9 months, acquiring valium and temazepam for 2 years I’m already on a probation order that monitors me weekly, but now they are getting high and mighty over their NHS licence rather than try britlofex detox, which is. what I want.
Nick F, thanks for your response. Rapid reduction is an option, however they want me down to 20ml, will power, gonna have a rough few months.
