Open Question: methadone sickness 5 days later?

First off 3 years ago I came off Dilaudid and let me tell you it was hell and if i had a gun i do believe i wouldn’t be typing this message. i was taking about “8 to 10” 4 mg Dilaudid everyday . First 3 months i took by mouth and when that did not satisfy me i started shooting them. This went on for about 9 more months. Then i said enough was enough . I stopped cold turkey and within 4 hrs of my last shot into my vein the effects of withdrawal came on like a ton of fu$ $ ing bricks.I didn’t sleep for 6 days. RLS was not secluded to just my legs it went up my entire body. my body ached like no other and i lived in and on the bath tub and toilet. Around eight days later i was able to leave the death smell of my apartment. 2 weeks later i was back on the pills. I decided to get help via methadone clinic. I have been dosing around 120 mg “wafers” for 3 years now. I decide to be brave and kick it as well. i do believe i can live a dope free life if i take it day by day. Now my question is why am i not even half as sick as i was when coming off morphine. I do know methadone can take days before the full blown withdraws kick in. 24 hrs after taking my dose i became paranoid and lost all my energy. Its been 6 days now and i have experience mild to moderate pain in my legs lower back. When i do fall a sleep i wake up and my legs are like logs.
Today was the first day i left my house. As of now i actually do feel a lot better. i have been taking a moderate amount of Xanax and i do believe that is how my cat naps are induced. I also have been vitamins and potassium. So i guess the question is, am i WISHING the worst is over or has it even really started. Do I still have methadone in my system waiting to perish so i will go through living hell.
A few other body effects i have been having is mild restlessness, runny noise and not much of an appetite.
So my question is DID i trick myself thinking it was going to be like morphine withdrawal when its just methadone is less well for lack of better words ruthless.
ps i cold turkey the methadone as well.

Im curious what they would do for my sister? Shes been taking pain meds and doesnt want to anymore but the withdrawl keeps her from quitting. What can she do and no she doesnt want to go to methadone or subox clinic.

her counselor has been putting his hands on her, he has borrowed 870 bucks from her, asks on her dates comes to her house she is terrified of being discharged he has crossed so many ehtical linesdoes she have a law suit against the clinic por against her counselor or both he told her if she said anything or tried to chande therapist he would get her discharged, and the physical withdraws from methadone is worse than herione she is a single mother does she have a legal case and a chance of winning
