Been together 4 years & have a 1 and a half yr old daughter. Found messages on facebook on my girls page talkin to ex & few other guys. before I finish I have to add she was detoxing off methadone clinic & taking a bunch of kolono pins. After I found messages I walked out & said were done came back next day & she wouldnt let me in for 2 hours….kept answering me & tellin me to go to dunkin donuts & she will meet me…i knew the guy was here so I started freaking out kickin door finally after 2 hours he ran.out front I came in & she was all dressed up makeup & all & music was on low & dog was locked in room. She lied & said they only kissed & they rubbed eachother above pants..that night I found fake facebook & numbers in call log…few days later I got her into detox & she came out all about me again & seems sincere…she admitted to me they had sex & didnt finish cuzz I was kickin door & he was nervous & said she made huge mistake & loves me…she deleted both facebooks in front of me & sex/relationship is alot better then.ever….but im still upset & hiding my feelings. Im si hurt & dont trust her…is she truly serious & how do I.know she will never do it again!
Also she is no longer on methadone clinic or pillz & is completley sober!

symptoms with prescribed narcotics for the pain. Needless to say she acquired a dependency to these drugs. After my parents divorced she also started drinking heavily and taking more medication because she felt so bad mentally and physically. After years of her downward spiral she has decided to get some help. She was admitted to a partial hospitalization program and prescribed methadone and Valium (sp?) to detox herself from the vicadin and alcohol. I think this is truly a bad idea. I feel the Doctors are just swapping one med with something that is stronger and more dangerous.
This will be a several part question because I am so lost and don’t know how to help her.
1) Has anyone had first hand experience for this type of treatment (methodone)?
2) She can’t be the only person this has happened to so Im wondering if there is a support group for people with this disease that have been successful in staying off narcotic pain meds for awhile. ( I am aware of NA but I was looking for something more specific to her topic.
3) Has anyone been able to treat the symptoms with natural juicing? I heard beets are good for inflamation.

Heres the deal… I’ve been on methadone since november 2010 I’m at 165mgs currently. Yes I know very high considering I’m25& 150lb female. I lost my medical coverage andI’munable to afford the weekly cost of treatment. So the clinic I am at is going to start to detox me rapidly over a10 day period. Which will mean each day they willreduce me 16mgs until down to none.What is this going to be like? I’ve withdrawn off of oxycontin before and it was a nightmare. Is this going to be easier? I don’t want to be in MMT anymore I have the will and the drive to stay clean (I have a15 month old miracle baby boy, he’s my reason for being clean, he’s been a second chance at life, a chance of being a better person, he and my fiance are my reason to live..I was told through out myteenage yearsthat I would NEVER conceive andboomI found out i was 5 months along while I was trying to do a self detox at home by reducing the amount ofoxysI was doing ..but once I found out aboutmysonI took the safest route for him to survive which was mmt) I’ve wanted to detox for a while but I have a very low tolerance to pain and sickness… I’malso battling moderate/severe anxietywithveryminor/acute depression…I’m currently taking 2mgs of ativan as needed (which turns out tobe 1-2.pillsa day) n I would go the suboxone route butI’m allergic top it so that doesn’t help much… Is there anyone out here who has been in this situation?Are there anyways to help make this a little bit of an easier process?
