I’ve been off methadone for one month today. I was on the clinic for 15 years. i don’t know anyone who has been there that long and gotten off. They all go back. I can’t sleep. I have a script for kolonopin & take way too many advilPM’s & sleeping pills (OTC) but i can’t sleep. Is thee anyone out there who has had a long-term habit & made it? Should I expect to not be able to sleep forever? Any advice?

My cousin was addicted to Oxycotin and went to a clinic and went on methadone, she ended up pregnant and still continued to do methadone. Will CPS take the baby away once it’s born? Or because the doctor knows about it will they just put the baby in NICU and then give her the baby? I am going to her appointments with her now so i can help her through this. I know the effects it can have on the baby and it is horrible. I just want to know how they help wean the baby and if they can take it away?
And yes i know my cousin is stupid for putting the baby and her in harm.
Nevermind i just called and asked, they will wean the baby and then give her back, and yes the doctor is supposed to put his reports to CPS, but they won’t take the baby away they just go and do check ups at the house…thanks though:)
