Resolved Question: methadone side effects?

I just started taking methadone for chronic pain and when i say just started i literally mean im writing this after taking my first dose of four, five milligram pills about two hours ago So starting with my vision, my eyesight is extremely blurry and out of focus, Id say its mostly out of focus. Its extremely hard to read anything on my laptop screen or phone screen without trying extremely hard to focus or moving it closer to or further away from me. There also seems to be motion trails after peoples heads when they move them or wave a hand or something. It also seems that intermittently straight lines become wavy.
Now for hearing, the best way i can describe it would be that my ears are “fluxing”. Its a very weird sensation it feels sort of like my ears are straining and then they make a sort of fluxing sound. I know thats the worst description in the world but its all ive got im sorry.

Another side effect im wondering about it something listed as “lesser state of consciousness”. I had no idea what this could possibly mean until i started to experience it, or well at least i think im experiencing it: During conversation i can be completely sure we were talking about one thing and mention something that correlates to that topic and then seconds later realize that it had nothing to do with anything that was said even though i could have sworn on my life that wed been having a full on conversation about it. Things like that and another example of something specific would be earlier i was sitting at my desk reading something on facebook, closed my eyes for a few seconds, had like a semi dream type of thing where i was looking at a picture of a picnic and then i opened my eyes and picked up a random piece of paper that at the time i thought was the picture from when i had my eyes closed and i had actually stood up and made it about halfway down the hallway before i realized that i was holding a paper towel and whoever i intended to ask about the picnic picture would have surely thought i was going completely insane.

So my question here is, is all of this normal?! It seems as if im rather ****** up off my methadone, im not gonna lie it is pretty pleasurable but are all these side effects nothing to worry about or what do they mean? im kind of just in awe at how effected i am by this medication.

Resolved Question: BUPROPION SR 100mg FOR ADHD Normal side effects?

I started taking bupropion sr 100mg 6 days ago every morning. It was prescribed to me for my adhd because I cant take concerta or ritalin. Im a 21 yr old mother also on MMT (Methadone Maintenance Treatment) as a recovering addict. My child is now over a year old and I have been doing very well other than the ADHD which interferes a lot of my life. anyways, since I started taking the drug 6 days ago I have been overwhelmed by feelings of sadness I cant understand. Im also more anxious than I ever was. Im scared and want to stop taking it but at the same time feel it could possibly change my life if these feelings subside and it starts working… I havent really noticed it working but my dr. told me 4-6 for a fair trial.

I’ve been causally taking methadone for about a month and a half. I was just wondering if methadone can effect your period. Last month my period was late and very light and this month im about a week and half late. I’ve been thinking I was pregnant. But then I started thinking about the methdone, and how much I’ve been taking it. I took one too many about two weeks ago and it made me really sick sick. I’ve researched if it to see if missed period could be a side effect. Turns out it is, but I was hoping to get your guys opinion and see if there are any personal experiences that can be shared.
